Technical characteristics:

The internal sewage system from PP-HT consists of a set of pipes and fittings made of polypropylene, adapted for mutual connection through bell connectors with elastomer seals. The pipes are produced by extrusion, while the fittings are injection molded. Polypropylene is characterized by high resistance to various types of aggressive chemical substances contained in wastewater (eg from laboratories, laundries, hospitals).

Restrictions in the use of this material refer to wastewater containing highly oxidizing substances, such as concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, chlorine, bromine and derivatives. Due to the biological neutrality of the material from which the individual elements of the sewage system are made, the above system is recommended for use in the food industry.

Pipes and fittings are manufactured from imported from Western European pellets of gray and white polypropylene granulate of guaranteed quality, confirmed by the quality assurance system implemented in the company ISO 9001: 2000.

Purpose:

They are intended, among others for the construction of water supply networks, sewage networks and for the transport of aggressive liquids.

  • Single- and multi-family housing construction

  • Offices, hospitals, laboratories, hotels

  • Industrial installations

  • Food industry and agriculture

Standards:

EN 1451-1 – Plastic pipe systems for the discharge of waste and sewage (low and high temperature) inside buildings’ construction – Polypropylene (PP) – Part 1: Specification of pipes, fittings and system

Advantages of the FONICA low-noise internal sewage system:

Low specific gravity of pipes and fittings of FONICA internal sewage system, facilitates transport and accelerates assembly of the installation.

The FONICA low-noise internal sewage system together with the Bismat 1000 clamp achieves a weighted sound indicator of material sound even below 10 dB.

Chemical resistance to various types of aggressive compounds and substances contained in wastewater, both household and industrial, and industrial.

Durability of installations made of polypropylene, determined for a minimum of 50 years, guaranteeing high reliability and failure-free operation of the installation during the entire “technical life” of the building.

The labeling of a system made of polypropylene (PP) with the HT (High Temperature, German Hohe Temperatur) symbol means that these products can be used in the case of constant, high values of sewage temperatures (up to 95°C).

The wide range of offered lengths of pipes means that during the assembly phase, the need to cut them and the resulting waste fragments is minimized.

Compatibility of both internal and external dimensions of individual elements of the PP-HT internal sewage system enables their seamless use in existing sewage systems inside buildings made of other materials (eg PE polyethylene and PVC-U polyvinyl chloride, for installations made of pipes and cast iron fittings are available special connecting pieces).

Sewage pipes and fittings made of polypropylene are characterized by smooth walls, which has a positive effect on the hydraulic conditions of the sewage flowing – there are reduced flow resistance, no deposits and solid parts contained in discharged sewage on the pipe walls.

The structure and properties of polypropylene enable the products made from it to be re-processed to 100%. This significantly affects the protection of the environment and saves energy consumed in the technological process.
